Yes. I realize that wasn't a short break. Yes, I realize that most of you probably completely forgot about this site. No, I don't care, I've got a load of fresh comics and I'm going to use them!

So we're back! This time we shouldn't be dying again anytime soon because I'm totally digging this and have about eight different story arcs running through my head, not to mention the 3 or 4 from more than a year ago to finish.

Fun fact: I had to recreate the entire hood and start over because I had actually kept playing after I stopped the comic, so half the main characters were either dead or old. :P

So anyhow, that's the story. There are still some loose ends to tie up. I will begin using a new emailing system to send out the newsletters soon that will allow me to schedule the emails ahead of time, much like I can schedule the comics to appear on the site ahead of time. I've got about two weeks of comics made as of tonight and am going to spend time tomorrow making at least another two weeks worth, so stay tuned, don't touch that dial, etc, because we'll be coming at you with a new comic every night at midnight CST!

Hello everyone! Just a heads up, I'll be taking a short break from the comic for a few weeks so I can get some work done on the main DJS Sims site as I'm converting everything over to a new content management system. So, stay tuned and look for more in a while! :)

After an extended break, What's This? is back! I never did formally announce the fact that the site existed before, but that's about to change! So, welcome to all the new visitors! Feel free to subscribe to the daily comic email on your right, take a look around, and most importantly, read the comics! The current comics are finishing and starting new storylines, so I recommend you start by reading the Comic Archive and get caught up on the happenings of the What's This? world.

Hello, and welcome to the shiny new website for the "What's This?" Webcomic! In case you're wondering what on Earth this is, it's just another venture by that crazy jfade guy of DJS Sims.

Fortunately, unlike most other crazy ventures, this one has actually been worth it! So far, I've greatly enjoyed making the comics. I've got about 2 weeks worth finished already, and I'm working on more.

At this point the FAQ and Characters pages are both kinda ... empty, but that's cause there's really nothing to put on them as of yet. Working on that though. :P
